Welcome to East Midlands Kickboxing, affiliated to the Professional Kickboxing Association (PKA) we are the largest and number one Kickboxing group in the region. We have classes throughout Nottingham, Derby and Leicester, all taught by friendly, professional and qualified instructors. Heading the team are husband and wife, Dan and Jo Maguire (pictured above), who have a combined thirty years of martial arts and fitness experience. Along with their team of instructors and coaching team members we aim to offer you an unrivalled martial arts and fitness experience.

Get Fit - Unrivalled Cardio Workout
A natural by-product of learning kickboxing is how fit you will become, you may have seen or heard about karate or kung-fu classes where you stand on the spot doing boring and repetitive drills for twenty minutes plus. Not so with East Midlands kickboxing, we guarantee you a total and complete body workout for the entire class. Explanations and demonstrations are kept to a minimum to ensure that you are always active.

Although Kickboxing is considered to be a contact sport it doesn't need to be, sparring and competitions are entirely optional. Lose Weight - Burn Fat, Improve Muscle Tone
Many health experts and fitness magazine articles have greatly endorsed kickboxing for its many health benefits, the estimated average calorie burn per session is approximately 800 plus (roughly, the equivalent to a 5 mile run). This can, of course, have a huge effect on body shape and body fat levels. When training between two to three hours kickboxing per week accompanied by a controlled and balanced diet you can expect to shed excess pounds whilst toning the muscles beneath.

East Midlands Kickboxing Charity Events
Through a variety of charity events held over the past few years, East Midlands Kickboxing has managed to raise lots and lots of money for some truly worthy causes, based both locally and nationwide. Since Christmas 2009 we have raised a grand total of £8,485.00 for various different charities.
